The LM will monitors the token’s price. Then when the token price exceed the defined range, the LM will sell to maintain the price within the bottom range. Result of the sells will be added in the liquidity pool. In the opposite way, when the price is below the range, the LM will use the available liquidity to buy and prevent price from falling.
