As you know, the Spring Game team puts a lot of weight in having a real impact in the real world.

That’s why we aim to become the first protocol to invest in the reforestation of our planet for every NFT purchased in our virtual game.

After contacting several foundations, we finally turned to OneTreePlanted, a foundation with which we share the same spirit and the same ideas and with which we will be happy to commit ourselves long term.

The decision has been made and we are proud and excited to officially announce our partnership with OneTreePlanted. This partnership is even more important to us since it allows us to realize our vision and have a real impact in the world we live in every day.

OneTreePlanted wants to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. They are motivated to restore forests, create habitats for biodiversity and have a positive social impact around the world.

From the beginning, OneTreePlanted has focused on making it easier to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity, and help reforestation efforts.

Since 2014, they have more than doubled the number of trees planted each year, and work with partners across more than 43 countries in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Pacific.

How will this partnership be set up?

Every time a Mystery Seed is purchased to give birth to a new virtual tree, 1% will be donated to the OneTreePlanted Foundation to give birth to real trees. The perfect combination between our virtual gaming world and the real world!

Our community can decide to which country they wish to donate trees

Donations will be made on a monthly basis and we will set up a voting system each month so that our community can decide to which country they wish to donate trees.

Following this donation, and to maintain transparency with our community, we will receive a monthly receipt that we will make public to show the number of trees that will be planted in the chosen country.

Following our discussions with the OneTreePlanted team, we have agreed that once 1,000 trees have been planted, Spring Game will have the honor of being listed as an official strategic partner on the OneTreePlanted website.
